We are again asking for your help

Dear member, we are again asking for your help. We are currently making plans for the coming weeks and months to be able to do as efficiently as possible in these exceptional circumstances the thing that is the most important to us: to pay your earnings-related benefit. The amendments to the legislation require a lot of work and re-arrangements from us, and the growing number of laid off people is larger than ever before. We cannot even make estimates for the processing times yet, but we will inform you as soon as we know more.

That’s why we are again asking for your help. Last time some 35,000 people answered our inquiry, thank you everyone! The data collected helped us to communicate efficiently to the legislators. Now we are asking for some more information to help our own planning. It only takes a minute to answer the inquiry.

Thank you for your time and keep up the fighting spirit!

Our telephone service will be closed on 27 March and 3 April

We are being flooded with questions at a fast pace. There are hundreds of telephone calls every day. In addition, we get more than 1,000 messages per day through OmaYTK. We are able to reply to around 500 messages per day, so the messages are beginning to pile up.

As a result, our telephone service and chat will be closed on Friday 27 March and Friday 3 April. All our staff will then focus on replying to the backlog of messages. We will reply to all messages, so we thank you for your patience. We are receiving all the messages, so there is no need to re-send your message.

We have compiled key issues and questions at information about coronavirus. You will find answers to most of your questions there.
