Our membership fee for next year is just €99

YTK Unemployment Fund has confirmed that the membership fee for 2023 will be €99. Our membership fee is decreasing substantially, by up to €16.

This year, unemployment has been lower than last year’s forecasts, and our funds are in good condition. We are reducing our membership fee because we now have the opportunity to do so.

You will receive a bill at the start of the year

We will send out bills for next year’s membership fees on 2 January 2023. Depending on your billing preferences, you will either receive an e-invoice in your online bank or a bill on paper or in digital form. The due dates are in January/February.

Thank you so much for being a member! There are more than 500,000 of us, and the number of members has grown again this year.

Remember to pay your membership fee to stay eligible for an earnings-related daily allowance

Only those who pay their membership fees are members of the unemployment fund and therefore eligible for earnings-related benefits in the event of unemployment or lay-off.

If you do not pay your membership fee, we will have to expel you. If your membership ends in expulsion, you will no longer be entitled to the security that membership affords. You will also lose any membership and employment history that you have accumulated. If this happens, you will need to reapply for membership and start accumulating the membership and employment history that you need to qualify for an earnings-related daily allowance from scratch.

Always pay your membership fee

The amount of YTK’s membership fee is the same for everyone, and you must pay it regardless of your circumstances. If you are, for example, a student, in military or non-military service, on maternity or parental leave, or on long-term sick leave, keep paying your membership fees as you normally would.

The aforementioned circumstances are acceptable reasons for being absent from the labour market and grounds for extending the normal 28-month review period for satisfying the working condition by as much as seven years. By paying your membership fee, you can keep the membership and employment history that you have accumulated, even if you are not working right now.

Can I still be a member?
