Invoicing of membership fees for 2020 has begun – make sure that you membership will continue

We have sent the invoices for the membership fees for 2020 to our current members on 2 January 2020, so you will receive your invoice in the next few days.

You will receive the invoice either on paper by post or as an e-invoice to your online bank, if you have chosen e-invoice as the invoicing method. The invoice sent by post will be forwarded to the Post’s OmaPosti service (former Netposti) if you have registered as its user. You can also check the details of your membership fee in OmaYTK. If you are a member of both YTK and the YTK Association, you will receive two separate invoices.

Please see to it that you pay the membership fee on time, because only a valid membership will provide you with security during unemployment, lay-off or alternation leave. Failure to pay the membership fee will result in retroactive termination of the membership on the date from which on the membership fee has not been paid, which means in practice the end of 2019. If your membership is interrupted for a period longer than one month, you will need to accumulate again the full 26-week condition regarding employment during your membership of the unemployment fund before you will be entitled to receive earnings-related daily allowance.
