Increase in earnings disregard and relieved conditions for mobility allowance were confirmed
The President has signed the amendment that increases the earnings disregard and relieves the conditions of mobility allowance.
You can receive mobility allowance when you are unemployed and take on a full-time job in which the duration of commute is altogether at least two hours. Before the amendment the requirement was three hours. For part-time employment the required duration of commute is still 2 hours.
The amendment will be in force for full-time employments that start from 12 June – 31 October 2020.
In full-time employment the amount of mobility allowance is around 724 euros per month. If you have children or the workplace is located over 200 km away from your place of residence, you can also receive child increase or increase of mobility allowance. The salary does not affect the amount of mobility allowance.
