How the Midsummer holiday affects the days on which the daily allowance is paid
Midsummer Eve is not a bank day. Money does not move in the bank. Midsummer therefore has some impact on the days on which the daily allowance is paid. It also affects our opening hours.
Midsummer affects payment schedules
When we process your application and pay your earnings-related allowance or other benefit, it normally takes two banking days for the money to appear in your account. If there is a bank holiday or other national holiday when the banks are closed, the money will arrive a little later.
We are closed on Midsummer Eve, so we do not process applications. However, follow-up applications, which we can process by machine, will be processed and paid on the eve.
The Midsummer Eve will affect payment schedules as follows:
Payment date | Payment in your account |
---|---|
20.6. | 22.6. |
21.6. | 26.6. |
22.6. | 27.6. |
23.6. | 27.6. |
24.6. | 27.6. |
25.6. | 27.6. |
26.6. | 28.6. |
Our telephone service is closed during the Midsummer holidays
During Midsummer our phone service will be closed from Thursday (22.6.). We will open normally on the Monday after Midsummer.
In OmaYTK you can send messages as usual and chatbot Iiris will also help you on our website.
