Relaxation of the terms of mobility allowance
Mobility allowance is generous benefit. It enables you to take a job further away. The Parliament has approved an amendment relaxing the conditions of mobility allowance.

The President has confirmed a Government proposal approved by Parliament (HE78/2020) according to which a mobility allowance may be granted for a full-time job if the return commute lasts at least two hours. Before the amendment, the duration requirement of the commute was at least three hours.
The two-hour commute requirement will apply to employment contracts that start when the law enters into force and before 1 November 2020. In other words, full-time employment contracts starting between 12 June and 31 March 2021.
