When you register as a job-seeker at the TE Office, staff will help and support you in finding a job. You can prepare an employment plan together with the TE Office staff and, if necessary, improve your job-seeking skills, for example in job search training.
In addition, vacancies are constantly advertised in TE Offices. To stay informed, subscribe to Paikkavahti (a vacancy watch service) that will send you e-mails about job advertisements matching your search criteria.
In addition to job-seeking services, the TE Office provides guidance for choosing a career and finding training. It also organises labour policy training. The TE Office issues decisions on support for independent studies.
If necessary, the TE Office will also help in arranging job alternation leave.
