If you are under 25 and have not completed education that leads to a degree or profession after comprehensive school or upper secondary school, you must apply for at least two places of study in the joint application procedure for studies beginning in the autumn term. If you do not apply for a place, we cannot pay you daily allowance if you are unemployed.

If you lose your entitlement to daily allowance, you can re-apply for it after you have completed education leading to a degree or profession or participated in an employment-promoting service for at least 21 calendar weeks.

You may be able to make up for a missing study application with other actions if you have agreed on this with the TE Office in your employment plan.
