If your entrepreneurial activities are part-time by nature, you can apply for earnings-related daily allowance to support your livelihood. Your entrepreneurial activities are part-time by nature, if they do not prevent you from taking on a full-time job.
The TE Office will make a decision on the part-time nature of your entrepreneurial activities by estimating the amount of work required by the activities. Entrepreneurial activities shall not be considered to be part-time by nature on the basis of lack of income alone. When you inform the TE Office about your entrepreneurial activities, you will be asked to provide a description thereof. The TE Office will make the decision based on your description, so you should prepare it carefully.
You can also apply for earnings-related daily allowance to support your livelihood, if you are employed in entrepreneurial activities for a maximum of two weeks. In case of such a short period the TE Office will not investigate the employing effect of such activities. If the entrepreneurial activities last for longer than two weeks, however, their full-time and part-time nature will be evaluated from the beginning of the activities.
