The amount of mobility allowance is 32,40 € per day.
The maximum duration of the mobility allowance period depends on the duration of the employment. The mobility allowance period is:
30 days, if the employment lasts at least 2 months
45 days, if the employment lasts at least 3 months
60 days, if the employment lasts at least 4 months
Mobility allowance can be paid for a maximum of five days per calendar week. So the number of actual days paid for is less than the duration of the allowance period. For example, a 30-day allowance period includes 20–22 allowance days depending on the month.
The mobility allowance is only paid for the duration of the employment. The allowance periods are fixed and they will not be extended even if the mobility allowance payments were temporarily interrupted.
Mobility allowance based on part-time employment is only paid for the days in which you were at work. However, each calendar day is included in the maximum duration of the allowance.
If you are a guardian of underage children, you can apply for child increase of mobility allowance. The amount of child increase is 5,23 € for one child, a total of 7,68 € for two children, and a total of 9,90 € for three or more children per day. If the job or the place where training related to the work is arranged is located more than 200 kilometres away from your previous place of residence, we can also pay you an increase of mobility allowance which amounts to 4,74 € per day.
