How much is the mobility allowance?
The amount of mobility allowance is 37,21 € per day.
The maximum duration of the mobility allowance period depends on the duration of the employment. The mobility allowance period is:
- 30 days, if the employment lasts at least 2 months
- 45 days, if the employment lasts at least 3 months
- 60 days, if the employment lasts at least 4 months
Mobility allowance can be paid for five days per calendar week at the most.
This means that the allowance is not paid for the number of days (the allowance period) shown above. For example, a 30-day allowance period includes 20–22 allowance days, depending on the month.
The mobility allowance is only paid for the duration of the employment. The allowance periods are fixed, and they will not be extended even if the mobility allowance payments were temporarily stopped.
If you work part-time, mobility allowance is only paid for the days in which you were at work. However, the allowance period is still fixed.
If you are a guardian of underage children, you can apply for a child increase of mobility allowance. The amount of child increase is EUR 7,01 € for one child, EUR 10,29 € in total for two children, and EUR 13,26 € in total for three or more children per day. If the job or job-related training is arranged in a location more than 200 kilometres away from your previous place of residence, we can also pay you an increase of mobility allowance; EUR 5,29 € per day.
