You cannot join the YTK if

  • You are an entrepreneur.
    Only salaried employees can join the YTK. Entrepreneurs cannot join. This means that, for example, if you are working on a commission contract or as a sole trader, you cannot join the YTK. If you are working simultaneously as an entrepreneur and an employee, you can join the YTK. You may also be considered an entrepreneur, if you work in a company and are a shareholder in that company.   • You work through an invoicing company. In terms of unemployment security, you are considered an entrepreneur.
    If you work through an invoicing company, for the purposes of unemployment security, you are considered an entrepreneur. ​​​​​​​ If you work through an invoicing company and would like to join the YTK, please contact our customer service and we can check your right to join. Working through an invoicing company is not the same as temporary agency work (temping).
