Accessibility statement

At YTK, we support our customers at all stages of their working life. This is why we want to provide you an online service that meets your needs as an individual.

We aim to guarantee the accessibility of our online service by ensuring that it meets the statutory requirements specified in the Act on the Provision of Digital Services.

The YTK.fi website was published in March 2018. We carried out an accessibility audit on our website in June 2019 together with an external auditor. We updated our website on 15 November 2019 based on the audit results.

The OmaYTK online service was published in June 2016. We carried out an accessibility audit on the OmaYTK service in June 2019, together with an external auditor. Updates to the OmaYTK service based on the audit results will be published in the autumn of 2020 together with other updates.

This accessibility statement was published on 10 June 2020.

  • The YTK.fi website meets the statutory requirements to a large extent.

    Currently, the OmaYTK online service does not meet all critical requirements. However, the service is being developed and a new version will be published in the autumn of 2020.

  • The website contains some appendices and PDF forms that do not fully meet the requirements for accessibility. Most of these appendices and forms have been published prior to 23 September 2018. A plan has been drafted to change the format of the appendices and forms, and they will be updated within a reasonable time.

    The website includes some images, infographics and videos with no alt text, subtitles or closed captions available. Alt texts, closed captions and subtitles will be added.

  • You are entitled, on reasonable grounds, to receive any information you need in order to clarify or execute your interests, rights or obligations in an accessible format. If you are unable to receive such information from our online service in an accessible format, or you want to provide us with other feedback related to accessibility, please email us at  [email protected]. We will respond to your feedback within 14 days.

  • If you have given us feedback on the accessibility of our online service but are not satisfied with the response you received, or you do not receive a response at all within two weeks, you can file a complaint to the Regional State Administrative Agency of Southern Finland.
