An unemployed person’s right to earnings-related daily allowance cannot be solved merely on the basis of being a member of an unemployment fund. The membership of the fund is however an absolute precondition for receiving earnings-related daily allowance from the fund. Provided that other conditions are met, the right to fund benefits such as earnings-related daily allowance and compensation for job alternation leave, is established when you meet the membership and the employment condition. The most important obligation of the member of the fund is to be sure to pay the annual membership fee on time. Only by paying the membership fee can you maintain your membership and your right to unemployment security.

A person’s, who has been made redundant or laid off, right to unemployment daily allowance can begin at the earliest from the day, when they have been registered as a job seeker at the employment office.
